ABOUT RED CLOUD RANCH

Red Cloud Ranch Red & Breakfast

Your Host

Breakfast is served at the dining table in the Welcome Cabin, and is best not missed. Innkeeper Stevie Bass is well known for her interesting menus and beautiful presentations, having spent many years as a food stylist, preparing food and recipes for photography appearing in magazines, cookbooks, and advertising and editorial layouts. (Better Homes & Gardens featured the food of Red Cloud Ranch in an 18-page spread in June, '96.)

The rolling open meadows, forests, wildflowers, and cold bubbling streams of the ranch provide you with a retreat atmosphere to unwind and enjoy nature in its pristine state. You can be active or just plain laid-back, enjoying the peaceful, natural environment. We are very proud of our new Nature Trail loops, fun for all ages. Some are easy and rolling through the woods and another is a tougher 1 mile climb to the ridge with views. They all have interpretive trail signs full of flora, fauna and environmental facts. (Go to our Nature Trails page to see pictures.) Treat yourself to an affordable vacation in a nourishing environment. Reconnect with unspoiled natural surroundings and enjoy the simple life.

The ranch has three buildings, with two lodging units. Meals are taken in the Welcome Cabin, overlooking the pond.

We hope your stay with us will be a rejuvenating and healthful experience, so we place a great deal of emphasis on the food. We cook with the best ingredients that we can get, organic wherever possible, hormone-free meats and no trans fats.
